Vinnie on Mahavishnu tribute

Has anyone heard VARIOUS GUITARISTS * VISIONS OF AN INNER MOUNTING APOCALYPSE-A TRIBUTE IN FUSION GUITAR with Vinnie on it yet? The critics were not very supportive and said that it is not really a tribute, if you play Mahavishnu songs like this! [img]confused.gif[/img]

"The Critics?" WE are the critics. Being a Mahavishnu fan, I'd really like to make that decision for myself . . . and then spend the next week trying to impose my personal opinion on everyone else.

I think it's not out til the 29th? I've got it on order, as do many here I'm sure, so we can post our reviews when it ships. Those are not very encouraging words though.. Makes it sound like they did Happy Jazz versions of the tunes...we'll have to wait and see.

does anyone else agree that audiophile sucks?

Man i made my order in april, they didn't tell me that my items werent in stock until a couple of weeks when i emailed them, they told me it would come in may, then june, and i emailed them now and still no word,

Btw i heard sound clips too and it sounds good, which music critics were u speaking of?
